There are going to be some potentially elite teams in the conference, including Tennessee and Kentucky, both of which brought in incredible recruiting classes.
On Monday, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein released his preseason power rankings, with Tennessee at No. 1 and Vanderbilt bringing up the rear at No. 14:
SEC Preseason Power Rankings:
1. Tennessee
2. Kentucky
3. LSU
4. Florida
5. South Carolina
6. Arkansas
7. Alabama
8. Auburn
9. Missouri
