The 2023 college football season hasn’t kicked off just yet, but bowl game projections have already started.

On Monday, college football insider Brett McMurphy of the Action Network shared his Week 0 bowl projections. McMurphy has 12 SEC teams going bowling, with Missouri and Vanderbilt staying home for the holidays.

The 2023 season is the last year of the 4-team College Football Playoff before expansion to 12 teams. McMurphy projects a familiar SEC squad returns to the CFP and plays for the National Championship.
