The college football bowl season kicks off Friday with the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl and the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl.

Buffalo (7-5) plays Charlotte (7-5) in the Bahamas Bowl. The game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET on ESPN from Nassau. Buffalo is favored by 6.5 points, while this will be Charlotte’s first bowl game ever. If a team is going to punch its ticket to the first bowl game, there’s no better destination than the Bahamas, right?

Later, Utah State (7-5) plays Kent State (6-6) in the Frisco Bowl scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The Aggies are favored by 6.5 points.

As far as the SEC’s bowl season, it kicks off on Friday, December 27. Oklahoma State plays Texas A&M at 6:45 p.m. ET on ESPN. The first College Football Playoff semifinal with LSU taking on Oklahoma is December 28. Below is the entire schedule of SEC bowl games with dates:
