Saturday’s college football bowl schedule features multiple SEC games

The College Football Playoff semifinal games are in the books, but Bowl Season moves forward with a full slate of Saturday action, including 3 SEC teams in action. Five SEC teams (Florida, Mississippi State, Georgia, Auburn and Alabama) have already played in bowl games, giving the conference a 3-2 postseason record entering the day.
Four bowl games are scheduled. The action starts and ends in the Sunshine State with the Gator Bowl kicking things off and the Orange Bowl wrapping up the New Year’s Six bowls in primetime.
Here’s the Saturday bowl schedule:
Gator Bowl, TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida
- No. 23 North Carolina (8-3) vs. Kentucky (4-6)
- Noon ET, ESPN
- UK favored by 2 points
Outback Bowl, Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida
- No. 11 Indiana (6-1) vs. Ole Miss (4-5)
- 12:30 p.m. ET, ABC
- Indiana favored by 9.5 points
Fiesta Bowl, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
- No. 10 Iowa State (8-3) vs. No. 25 Oregon (4-2)
- 4 p.m. ET, ESPN
- Iowa State favored by 5.5 points
Orange Bowl, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida
- No. 5 Texas A&M (8-1) vs. No. 13 North Carolina (8-3)
- 8 p.m. ET, ESPN
- Texas A&M favored by 8.5 points.
When the clock hits 0:00 in South Florida tonight, all bowl games will be finished except for, obviously, the College Football Playoff national championship game against No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State on Jan. 11.
