Tennessee lost in a shocking upset to unranked South Carolina Saturday night 63-38.

The Gamecocks outplayed the Volunteers from the get-go in a landmark victory for Shane Beamer. Spencer Rattler threw for 6 touchdowns and 438 yards, as the offense racked up a whopping 603 total yards.

Saturday night was what Rattler and the Gamecocks offense were supposed to have been all season; however, the unit has struggled mightily at times, including last week against Florida. But not Saturday night.

With the loss, Tennessee’s Playoff hopes are over. That opens the door wide open for LSU, who will play Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

Saturday night was about South Carolina and Beamer. This was the biggest home upset for South Carolina since the upset over No. 1 Alabama in 2010.

College football fans took to social media following the upset.
