The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the postponement of yet another college football game.

The Conference USA game between No. 19 Marshall and FIU originally set to be played on Saturday will be pushed back, the Thundering Herd announced on their Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon. Due to the Panthers being unable to field a team with the minimum required number of scholarship athletes because of the presence of the coronavirus within their ranks, they will be forced to see its 2nd game postponed in 3 weeks. Their game against Charlotte originally set for Oct. 17 was pushed back as well.

Marshall is 5-0 on the season, its next game set for Nov. 7 against UMass. FIU, who has only played 3 games this year in comparison—losses to Liberty, Middle Tennessee and FCS Jacksonville State—is also scheduled to be in action on Nov. 7 as it travels to UTEP.

According to FootballScoop, a makeup date has not been set.
