The California University of Pennsylvania AD praised Stephens’ bright personality in a press release:

“Jamain was such a wonderful student with a smile on his face every time you saw him,” said Athletic Director Dr. Karen Hjerpe. “His personality was contagious and he made such a positive impact on everyone he met.”

Stephens played in all 11 games last season as a backup defensive lineman and on special teams. He recorded 3 tackles.
