The 2023 College Football Playoff is going to be lit both on the field and on the big state.

The CFP announced Thursday its lineup for the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! held on January 7-8 before the big game. Several multi-platinum recording artists are set to perform in Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium leading up to the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship, on January 9 at SoFi Stadium.

The acts include The Jonas Brothers and platinum-selling Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, Em Beihold, performing on Saturday, followed by international superstar and Grammy-award-winning signer Pitbull, along with multi-platinum 2023 Grammy nominee GAYLE performing Sunday.

The College Football Playoff could once again feature 2 SEC teams should the committee give Tennessee a 2nd look following conference championship weekend. Should the Vols win their last 2 games against South Carolina and Vanderbilt, they’ll finish the season 11-1, with its lone loss coming to top-ranked Georgia.

Currently, the Vols are ranked No. 5 in the CFP polls behind No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan, and No. 4 TCU. The Buckeyes and Wolverines are slated to face off against each other in “The Game” in Ohio Stadium on Nov. 26, meaning the loser could drop out of the top 4.

LSU also could sneak its way into the top 4 should it defeat Georgia in the SEC Championship on Dec. 3. The Tigers would become the first 2-loss team to make the College Football Playoff should they make the cut.

The SEC is the only conference to have 2 representatives make the playoffs in the same season. Alabama defeated Georgia for the national title as an at-large bid in 2017 while the Bulldogs returned the favor last January at Lucas Oil Stadium.
