What’s the most accurate prediction of strength of schedule?

The answer will come in many different facets depending to who you talk to. The way the NCAA ranks the strength of schedule is by opponents’ winning percentage the previous year, but obviously, that doesn’t tell the complete story. It’s just merely one way strength of schedule is derived, and a few different flaws exist: 1. A 10-2 FCS team carries more weight than a 7-5 FBS team and 2. The records are from the prior year and don’t take into account players who graduated or left early for the NFL or newcomers.

The NCAA would say Arkansas has the country’s toughest schedule, followed by Tennessee, Texas A&M and Kentucky in the top 10. All SEC teams are bolded below:
