What the college football world is saying about the SEC
The SEC generates a lot of buzz nationally, from haters attempting to troll the best conference in college football to lovers praising everyone from Commissioner Mike Slive to Nick Saban and the league’s cast of characters.
Between the play on the field, the press conferences of Les Miles and Steve Spurrier and the offseason shirtless antics of Bret Bielema, it’s a very media-friendly conference when you think about it.
Each week, we’ll make the rounds nationally to see what fans, analysts and other experts are saying about the SEC. Let’s go.

So has Arkansas hurt or helped the SEC’s reputation? (ALL SEC West Bowl eligible; Every Team in Top 30?) BTW, Vegas says FlaSt -1.5 vs Ark

Saw Odell Beckham catch a line-drive kickoff one-handed at LSU; against Alabama maybe? Did not return it, but that got everyone’s attention.

I just sent Mizzou fan/AP colleague an email laying out Missouri’s path to playoff. I also believe in a place called hope. Or something.
