Positive tests are happening all around the college football community.

Not long after the big news about Trevor Lawrence’s positive test for COVID-19, ESPN “College GameDay” analyst Desmond Howard shared via Twitter that he tested positive on Wednesday. Howard noted that he had already announced his test result Wednesday via his Instagram account.

Howard appears to be dealing with only mild symptoms so far. He described his throat as itchy with a “little soreness,” saying he feels “okay” overall. Howard says he will contribute to GameDay remotely, as Lee Corso has done throughout the season and Kirk Herbstreit did earlier this year.

GameDay will be in Happy Valley on Saturday. Penn State, 0-1 after a season-opening loss to Indiana, hosts No. 3 Ohio State. The Buckeyes are 1-0 after thumping Nebraska in their season-opener.
