College GameDay is headed to Athens.
ESPN’s flagship pregame show will be on location in Georgia for the top-10 showdown between the Bulldogs and Tennessee next weekend. It’s a game with significant College Football Playoff implications for both teams.

In addition to Playoff stakes, this game could mean a lot toward deciding who ultimately goes to the SEC Championship Game at the end of the season. Tennessee is currently 1 of 3 teams atop the SEC standings with just 1 conference loss. The Vols are joined by Texas and Texas A&M at the top of that group.
This will be the 5th consecutive season that College GameDay will make the trip to Athens at least once. The last time the crew didn’t make it to UGA was the 2018 campaign. Last season, GameDay was on campus for Georgia’s 52-17 win over Ole Miss.
Georgia is 28-23-2 all-time against Tennessee. However, the Bulldogs have dominated this series in recent years, winning 7 in a row.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
