College GameDay was in Athens on Saturday morning ahead of the Arkansas-Georgia game. It was a top-10 matchup, but didn’t live up to the billing, as the Bulldogs cruised to an easy 37-0 win over the Razorbacks.
Now, the popular ESPN pregame show has made an interesting and surprising choice for Week 6.
As you can see below, College GameDay will be heading to Dallas for the Red River Showdown game between Texas and Oklahoma:

That’s an interesting choice, as a top-5 matchup between Penn State and Iowa looks like a Playoff elimination game and perhaps the biggest game of the week.
Meanwhile, Georgia and Auburn meet up in a ranked matchup and Alabama heads to College Station.
But, Texas-Oklahoma is still an important game in the Big 12, as Oklahoma hasn’t been dominant this year, despite being undefeated. And, hey, it’s a future SEC matchup, after all!
