College GameDay crew, joined by Ms. Terry, make picks for SEC Week 5 action, including Alabama-Georgia
College GameDay was live in Tuscaloosa on Saturday morning, previewing the day’s games, including a showdown between No. 2 Georgia and No. 4 Alabama.
The GameDay crew of Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Rece Davis, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit was joined by Saban’s wife, the beloved Ms. Terry, to make picks for the biggest games of Week 5.
There were some big games in the SEC, obviously headlined by Georgia vs. Alabama. But Kentucky vs. Ole Miss, Oklahoma vs. Auburn and Texas A&M vs. Arkansas are also big-time matchups across the league.
Here’s a look at who Ms. Terry and the GameDay crew think will win Saturday’s most important games:
Kentucky at No. 6 Ole Miss
- Des: Ole Miss
- Saban: Ole Miss
- McAfee: Ole Miss
- Ms. Terry: Ole Miss
- Corso: Ole Miss
- Herbstreit: Ole Miss
No. 21 Oklahoma at Auburn
- Des: Auburn
- Saban: Oklahoma
- McAfee: Oklahoma
- Ms. Terry: Oklahoma
- Corso: Oklahoma
- Herbstreit: Auburn
No. 2 Georgia at No. 4 Alabama
- Des: Alabama
- Saban: Alabama
- McAfee: Alabama
- Ms. Terry: Alabama
- Corso: Alabama
- Herbstreit: No pick (he’s calling the game)
Will Miss Terry and the GameDay crew be proven right? We’ll find out as the busy Week 5 slate continues. And make sure to tune in to Georgia vs. Alabama at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
Surprising that they all went for Alabama; now just hope they’re right.
Don’t worry about the game. Just call your recruits after it’s over.
Look at Kentucky go! As for your recruits, break out the VHS so you can show them highlights from your last title since they weren’t born yet
Strange u always take up for ur big bro Bama. Guess gettin ur ass kicked tonight didn’t make it any easier.
He is suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
Wrong on
Kentucky at No. 6 Ole Miss
Maybe Wrong on
No. 21 Oklahoma at Auburn…
Turnovers could influence the game but on paper Bama should roll. One could say Georgia had too much trouble with KY last week but they played an SEC team. Bama hasn’t.
How’s Lane doing at halftime?
Weak like Pac 12 Alabama and Choking Georgia.
I’m not a chauvinist but little girls who know little about football should lean more towards silence until they know enough to post knowledge comments.
Georgia is a clearly talented but very poorly coached football club.
