College GameDay crew picks key Week 12 SEC games, iconic Army-Navy matchup
ESPN’s College GameDay was live from West Point on Saturday morning ahead of the iconic Army-Navy matchup.
The game hasn’t been played at West Point since 1943, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be held on Army’s home field.
The GameDay crew of Desmond Howard, Kirk Herbstreit, David Pollack and Lee Corso was joined by celebrity guest picker Condoleezza Rice, the former Secretary of State and former member of the College Football Playoff selection committee.
The crew picked a couple of key SEC Week 12 matchups before also making their selections for the Army-Navy matchup:
Auburn at Mississippi State
- Rice: Auburn
- Howard: Mississippi State
- Herbstreit: Auburn
- Pollack: Auburn
- Corso: Auburn
No. 9 Georgia at No. 25 Mizzou
- Rice: Georgia
- Howard: Georgia
- Herbstreit: Mizzou
- Pollack: Georgia
- Corso: Georgia
Navy at Army
- Howard: Navy
- Pollack: Army
- Herbstreit: Army
- Rice: Army
- Corso: Navy
Will the analysts be proven right? We’ll find out soon enough!
Go Navy. Beat Army.
Sorry, a beautiful shut out and 4th Army win in 5 years. But we are back on the same team now.
Are they going to try and make up the Air Force – Army game?
Herbstreet picked Mizzou over UGA. Just confirms he is an overrated clown.
Bizarre pick.
Go ARMY! Beat Navy!
Signed, sealed and delivered!
