College GameDay made it to Athens, Georgia for Saturday.

No. 12 Georgia hosts No. 7 Tennessee in a game with plenty of SEC championship and CFP implications. The Volunteers are well-positioned as a 1-loss SEC team, and look to avoid joining the ranks of the 2-loss conference squads. The Bulldogs, though, are fighting for their postseason lives. UGA is already out of the Playoff bracket at No. 12, due to seeding and conference championships. A third loss would almost certainly keep Georgia out of the 12-team field.

Georgia-Tennessee is not just a big game. It’s a series that goes back to 1899, becoming an annual rivalry game in 1992. The rivalry was on the mind of plenty of fans with signs at Saturday’s GameDay. Others, meanwhile, just went for laughs.
