Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder had quite an unusual night against SMU on Saturday.

In one sequence, he ended a two-touchdown third quarter with a 32-yard touchdown, but then minutes later, came back on the field only to vomit before a snap, and then throw an incomplete pass. Despite apparently not feeling well, Ridder didn’t come close to a delay of game penalty.

By early in the fourth quarter, Ridder and the Bearcats were up 28-10 as Ridder was 12-for-19 passing for 116 yards and one touchdown. It appeared to be a strong showing in a top 20 matchup, as the No. 9 Bearcats scored 14 points in the first quarter and third quarter.

Here’s hoping Ridder was able to get over whatever ailed him, so he could finish the game.
