Golf fans may have some competitive action to watch in the coming months as golf may prove to be the first professional sport in America to return.

According to Joel Beall of Golf Digest, the PGA Tour is set to begin in mid-June. That tournament is not scheduled to have fans in attendance.

In addition to that news, Golf Digest is also reporting dates for the PGA Champ (Aug. 6) the Ryder Cup (Sept. 25), the US Open (Sept. 17) and a rough date for the Master in November.

Following this news, the Masters has issued the following statement:

“We have identified Nov 9-15 as the intended dates to host the 2020 Masters. We hope the anticipation of staging the Tournament brings a moment of joy to the Augusta community and those who love the game.”

If nothing else, that should give golf fans and sports fans in general something to get excited about as we are all living in a world without competitive sports to watch.
