Dying to watch some sports on television? The PGA Tour appears to be the first professional sport prepared to return to action in the coming weeks.

That’s the latest from Brian Wacker of Golf Digest, who is reporting that the PGA Tour will resume play on June 11 for the Charles Schwab Challenge at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth. Fans are not expected to be allowed to be at the event.

Just like the rest of the sports world, the PGA Tour was put on hiatus several weeks ago following the coronavirus outbreak around the world.

The Travelers Championship on June 25-28, the John Deere Classic on July 9-12 and the 3M Open on July 23-26 are all other PGA Tour events expected to be played on their original dates.

For sports fans eager to get a break from coronavirus news, the PGA Tour looks to be the first major sport to return to action and provide some much-needed entertainment.
