Just last month, Colin Cowherd was calling Alabama boring and saying the Tide was bad for the sport. Now Cowherd has shifted to a political pedestal.

And it sounds a lot like he’s on Alabama’s side now.

According to Cowherd, the NCAA has been trying to level the playing field for smaller schools by increasing rules on recruiting. He compares it to Bernie Sanders trying to push socialism.

Enter Alabama. Now Alabama’s dominant presence supports Cowherd’s point of view.

Teams that are already seen as having an advantage and the teams that the NCAA watches the closest are still the teams on top.

Socialism doesn’t work, but why?

“Because people aren’t even,” Cowherd said. “People in Alabama simply care more.”

He got a lot of push back, but as usual he doesn’t seem to care. Agree with him or go away, as it seems.
