Dan Mullen released his weekly top five quarterback performances from this past weekend, with two SEC quarterbacks being featured on the list.

Carson Beck took the No. 4 spot of Mullen’s ranking after his breakout performance against Kentucky. The much-maligned signal-caller silenced his critics with 389 yards and 4 touchdowns on 28-for-35 passing, exposing a stout Wildcat defense and showing the potential of this UGA offense.

Jayden Daniels resided in the fifth spot of Mullen’s list following a heroic performance against Missouri. In a quarterback duel against Brady Cook, Daniels threw for 259 yards, ran for another 130 and racked up 4 scores. But, it was the way that he willed the Bayou Bengals to victory–evading would-be tacklers and gliding down the field with his legs–that made the nation take notice.

Dillon Gabriel took the top spot of Mullen’s list after leading future SEC member Oklahoma to a 34-30 victory over arch-rival Texas, recording over 398 yards of total offense and 2 TDs. Drake Maye slid into the second spot after lighting up Syracuse for 442 yards and 3 touchdowns, while DJ Uiagaleilei (275 yards, 5 TDs) made a handful of NFL-caliber throws in a shootout win over Cal that allowed him to place third.
