Dan Mullen’s top 25 college football teams look quite different with Week 6 of the 2024 college football season in the books.

But everyone’s rankings do, for that matter, after what may have been the most wild Saturday in college football in recent history… if not ever.

The obvious headliner was Vanderbilt, one of college football’s lowliest teams in years past, taking down No. 1 Alabama, 40-35 in Nashville. There were other things that stood out, though, like Georgia recording yet another slow start to ultimately got on to defeat Auburn, 31-13 in Sanford Stadium.

Like many others do, the former Florida and Mississippi State head coach turned college football analyst has Texas at the top. Other SEC teams that made the list here were Alabama (10), Georgia (11), Texas A&M (13), Tennessee (16), Oklahoma (18) and Ole Miss (25).

Here’s a look at the rest of his top 25.
