Happy draft day, y’all!
The 2022 NFL Draft officially kicks off in Las Vegas on Thursday night with Round 1. When Roger Goodell steps to the podium for the first 32 picks, he’s sure to call out plenty of SEC names.
On Wednesday night, NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his final mock draft of the season and he has 10 SEC stars going in the first round:
- No. 1 — Travon Walker, Edge, Georgia — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 5 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — New York Giants
- No. 6 — Charles Cross, OL, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers
- No. 8 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
- No. 12 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 14 — Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia — Baltimore Ravens
- No. 17 — Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida — Los Angeles Chargers
- No. 22 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Green Bay Packers
- No. 28 — Quay Walker, LB, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
- No. 30 — George Pickens, WR, Georgia — Kansas City Chiefs
