Eight weeks of the 2019 college football season have already come and gone, which is crazy to think about. It seems like just a few short weeks ago, we were sitting patiently and anxiously awaiting the start of the season.
Following Week 8’s action, former Florida State QB and current analyst Danny Kanell updated his weekly top 8 rankings.
As you can see below, both Alabama and LSU make the cut, but are still below No. 1 Clemson:
After week 8 of college football (How is it already 8 weeks?)
here's my #DKtop8 #mostaccurate1. Clemson
2. Ohio State
3. Oklahoma
4. Bama
5. LSU
6. Penn St
7. Oregon
8. Notre Dame— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) October 20, 2019
Just last week, Kanell claimed to hate the “eye test,” saying Clemson would remain his No. 1 team until someone beat them. However, this week, he dropped Alabama from No. 2 to No. 4 despite the Crimson Tide winning.
Sure seems like someone has come around on the eye test (except when it involves Clemson).
