Danny Kanell and a host of other analysts released their College Football top-12 rankings with Week 11 now officially behind us. And, of course, a lot of things looked different with some of the upsets that were pulled throughout the weekend, in addition to some rivalry games like Alabama-LSU that were not nearly as close as they were expected to be.
Four SEC teams made the cut.
Here’s a look at Kanell’s latest top-12 release:
- Oregon Ducks
- Indiana Hoosiers
- BYU Cougars
- Ohio State Buckeyes
- Tennessee Volunteers
- Penn State Nittany Lions
- Texas Longhorns
- SMU Mustangs
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- Miami Hurricanes
- Ole Miss Rebels
- Alabama Crimson Tide
Every one gets the same treatment in the Week 11 #DKtop12

The Tigers faced a do-or-die situation to try to make their way into the College Football Playoff and failed miserably, boatraced 42-13 in their own home stadium. Georgia also wasn’t competitive in the sense it was supposed to be against a rising Ole Miss team, falling 28-10 on the road to Lane Kiffin’s team.
It was a bit shocking to see that large of a gap in the final score after Georgia had seemingly proven itself as one of the nation’s top-5 teams just two games before when the Bulldogs defeated the Texas Longhorns, 30-15 away from home.
How Georgia and teams that may come in on the bubble of the next CFP rankings perform moving through the final stretch of the season will be crucial.
