Danny Kanell releases post-Week 1 Top 8 rankings, leaves out 1 notable SEC team
Every week during the season, former Florida State QB and current analyst Danny Kanell releases his top 8 rankings.
Following Week 1, he had some interesting rankings, including leaving out a notable SEC team that is in nearly everyone’s top 5.
As you can see below, he has Alabama ranked No. 2, LSU at No. 5, but doesn’t have Georgia mentioned at all:

Kanell responded to a fan who questioned Georgia’s absence, saying he didn’t think the Bulldogs were impressive in their season-opening win over Vanderbilt in Nashville:

Can the Dawgs climb into the top 8 next week? After all, one of his top 8 teams will lose this weekend, with LSU traveling to Austin to take on Texas.
