After each week of the college football season, CBS analyst and former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell has released his list of the top 8 teams in the country.
Given the upsets that have occurred week after week this season, there has been a lot of volatility with Kanell’s list, and that was the case again this week following Oregon’s blowout loss at Utah.
The Ducks, who were 3rd a week ago, dropped out, paving the way for Ohio State and Alabama to move up to Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.
The top 2 spots remained unchanged, however, as Georgia and Cincinnati held their positions after dominating wins on Saturday.
Rounding out Kanell’s top 8 after Week 12 action are Michigan at No. 5, Notre Dame at No. 6, Oklahoma State at No. 7, and Oklahoma at No. 8.
