CBS college football analyst Danny Kanell unveiled his top 12 teams in college football through four weeks of action, and it featured four SEC teams in his top five.

Texas, following a 56-7 blowout win over Louisiana-Monroe in Arch Manning’s first start, maintains the top spot in Kanell’s rankings. The Longhorns are followed by Georgia, who was idle this week, and Miami, who cruised to a 50-15 win over South Florida in Tampa.

Tennessee impressed on both sides of the ball in a 25-15 win over Oklahoma on Saturday night, and that propelled the Vols to the No. 4 spot in Kannel’s rankings. Alabama rounds out the top five after its bye week.

Oregon, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Penn State take up spots 6-9, with the Ducks coming off a bye week and the other three schools cruising to victories over lesser competition. Utah picked up a quality win over Oklahoma State on the road to begin its inaugural campaign in the Big 12, and that earned Kyle Whittingham’s squad the No. 10 spot.

Louisville and Missouri both survived home scares in their conference openers, with the Cardinals holding off Georgia Tech and the Tigers needing double overtime to take down Vanderbilt.
