David Pollack responds to seeing Barnett and Garrett chase down his sack total
ESPN personality David Pollack was an animal on the football field for the Georgia Bulldogs during his collegiate career.
A three-time All-American and a two-time SEC Player of the Year, Pollack is currently fourth on the all-time SEC sack leaders list with 36. Only Derrick Thomas (52), Billy Jackson (49), and Ben Williams (39) have bested him.
While Pollack’s current standing of fourth is cemented, two current SEC players are charging up the list — hoping to pass the 2005 first-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals:

Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett and Tennessee DE Derek Barnett have accrued 28 and 26 sacks, respectively. It’s unlikely either player will return for a senior season. As such, both have roughly 6-7 games remaining in order to catch Pollack.
