Dawayne Galloway is one of the top cornerbacks available in the 2025 recruiting class, and he’s an impact recruit for a handful of SEC programs.

Galloway is listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds out of Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. A 4-star cornerback, Galloway updated his recruitment with a final 12 list on Friday.

Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M and incoming program Oklahoma were included in Galloway’s mix. Michigan, Penn State and Purdue made the cut from the Big Ten while Colorado, West Virginia, UCF and Syracuse rounded out his group.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Galloway is a 4-star prospect and the No. 13 CB in the country for the class of 2025. He also checks in as a top 100 player as the 97th overall recruit in the country.

Galloway is also rated as the No. 4 player from the state of Ohio, but hometown program Ohio State did not appear on Galloway’s list. He has the size to compete on the outside at the next level and could be a key piece headed to the SEC when his recruitment wraps up.
