Recent trade leads active NFL player to suggest GM and coaches need to submit to drug testing
How bad is the Houston Texans-Arizona Cardinals DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson trade, with some draft picks mixed in, being perceived around the NFL?
One of the league’s active players just suggested the league should mandate drug testing general managers and coaches.
This If you missed the big news out of the NFL on Monday, with free agency set to begin on Wednesday, here are the details of the trade between Houston and Arizona — Houston has traded Hopkins and a 4th round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to Arizona in exchange for running back David Johnson, a 2nd round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and a 4th round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
If you were unaware, Houston coach Bill O’Brien also holds the GM title with the Texans.
Upon seeing that move, here is how Pittsburgh defender Cam Heyward reacted:
Man we need start drug testing some of these GM’s and coaches lol #questionablemoves

Time to drug test O’Brien?
He wasn’t alone.
JJ Watt, now no longer a teammate of Hopkins, is even questioning the move:

NFL analyst Ross Tucker may have said it best with these two tweets:
When you have a chance to trade DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson, you have to do it.

That sound you just heard was Bill O'Brien flushing Deshaun Watson's prime down the toilet.
