Deion Sanders quickly dismissed the idea of taking over as head coach at Texas A&M.

The first-year Colorado head coach said he has no time to think about that kind of thing as he tries to get his team another win.

“I want to win a game,” Sanders said on Tuesday. “You think I sit down and think about that kind of stuff? … Come on. I’m good.”

So it seems Prime won’t be heading to College Station anytime soon.

Sanders has led Colorado to a 4-6 start and is looking to get his team bowl eligible before the end of the season, but it will be tough. Colorado takes on Washington State this week before closing out the year against Utah.

Texas A&M will continue its coaching search in the coming weeks after firing head coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday. The Aggies fired Fisher after a 6-4 start in his 6th season at the helm.
