Once again, the NFL is catching heat for questions asked by a team during the combine.

The latest accusation comes from former LSU running back Derrius Guice, who claims an NFL team asked if he liked men during the combine interview process. He was also allegedly asked if his mother was a prostitute.

After Guice shared that story, the news went viral Wednesday night. In an email to Pro Football Talk, NFL spokesman NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy has strongly condemned the line of questioning allegedly poised to Guice:

“A question such as that is completely inappropriate and wholly contrary to league workplace policies. The NFL and its clubs are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees in a manner that is consistent with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, state and federal laws and the CBA. We are looking into the matter.”

“The league annually reminds clubs of these workplace policies that prohibit personnel from seeking information concerning a player’s sexual orientation.”

What the NFL can do about this remains to be seen. This isn’t the first time an NFL team or coach has asked some bizarre questions during the combine but until action is taken against these types of questions, the practice is likely going to continue.
