It’s shaping up to be another exciting weekend of football across the college and NFL world. Well … at least across the college football ranks. The NFL slate … yikes.

This might be one of the worst sets of matchups (on paper) that we’ve seen in a long time in the pros.

But nonetheless, there are some interesting higher/lower lines for both CFB and the NFL this weekend on Underdog Fantasy, and our DFS experts — Andrew Olson and Adam Spencer — have provided their picks for a busy weekend of football.

Our Week 11 College Football Picks

Andrew Olson

Ladd McConkey, Georgia: Higher than 62.5 receiving yards

McConkey has recorded 13 catches for 230 receiving yards in UGA’s last 2 games, stepping up in Brock Bowers’ absence. There’s a chance Bowers plays on Saturday, presumably impacting this higher/lower line for McConkey. Even if Bowers makes his post-surgery return, I still like McConkey to produce.

Bo Nix, Oregon: Higher than 321.5 passing yards

USC finally addressed its dreadful defense by dismissing Alex Grinch. Lincoln Riley had to do something, but will the defense look that much different this week? I like Nix to carve up the Trojans and boost his Heisman Trophy campaign.

Cade Klubnik, Clemson: Lower than 232.5 passing yards

Klubnik’s numbers have been all over the place in his first full season as the starter. Georgia Tech’s passing defense is allowing 8 yards per attempt. The Tigers, however, may not need to throw it that often. The Yellow Jackets struggle to stop the run, which should lead to big games for Will Shipley and Phil Mafah.

Adam Spencer

Devin Leary, Kentucky: Lower than 201.5 passing yards

Leary has struggled as Kentucky’s starter from a pure numbers standpoint. In 2 of his last 3 games, he’s failed to reach the 200-yard passing mark. Against Alabama’s elite defense? Forget about it. If Kentucky is going to win on Saturday, its defense is going to have to match the Tide’s, because the Wildcats can’t win a shootout.

Spencer Rattler, South Carolina: Higher than 2.0 passing TDs

I wish this higher/lower line was set at 1.5, but even at 2, I like it to hit. At the very least, Rattler should throw 2 touchdown passes and get us a push in this category. We’ll see what happens, but the Gamecocks desperately need this win over Vanderbilt.

Cody Schrader, Mizzou: Higher than 91.5 rushing yards

Schrader has been hot lately, going for 112 and 159 yards on the ground in his last 2 games. Going against Tennessee’s fast-paced offense should lead to Mizzou getting plenty of opportunities to rush the ball. Schrader has made the most of those chances so far this year.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers: Higher than 260.5 passing yards

The 2023 edition of the Herbert Fantasy Experience has been full of ups and downs. Week 9 saw his lowest output, 136 passing yards against the Jets. The Week 10 home game against the Detroit Lions feels like a more favorable matchup. I see a bounce-back game coming.

Saquon Barkley, New York Giants: Higher than 62.5 rushing yards

Barkley hasn’t been a fantasy superstar this season as he’s dealt with the injury bug and his team’s offensive struggles. This total, though, feels obtainable in Week 10. The Dallas defense has performed well, but the Giants will likely lean on Barkley with Tommy DeVito getting the start at QB.

Adam Spencer

CJ Stroud, Houston Texans: Higher than 249.5 passing yards

I like this game script for Stroud. Not only has he looked great lately, this is a game in which the Texans should be trailing. That would theoretically lead to more pass attempts for Stroud, who has been connecting at a high rate this year. Everything is shaping up well for him this weekend.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: Higher than 84.5 total yards

The Lions-Chargers game could be one of the highest-scoring games on Sunday. St. Brown is the unquestioned WR1 for Detroit. Put 2 and 2 together and it could be a big Sunday for St. Brown. The fact that Underdog is also letting rushing yards count for this line is just an added bonus!
