The Florida State Seminoles are now in the midst of a coaching search after Jimbo Fisher left Tallahassee to take the Texas A&M job.

One of the rumored top targets for the school is Oregon coach Willie Taggart, who used to coach at USF and has deep ties to the Florida area.

However, according to a tweet sent by Taggart on Saturday night, he may be more focused on staying with the Ducks. As you can see below, he’s talking about Oregon’s bowl assignment and recruiting:

Charlie Strong, the current USF coach, and Kevin Sumlin, the former Texas A&M coach, have also been linked to the position, among others.

Who ends up landing the job remains to be seen, but for now, at least, Taggart seems to be going out of his way to show his commitment to Oregon.
