Alabama and Clemson haven’t gotten off to their typically elite starts this year.
After Alabama fell at Texas A&M on Saturday night, the Crimson Tide haver their first loss since 2019. Meanwhile, Clemson has 2 losses on its resume — against Georgia and NC State.
So, where will these 2 prestigious programs end up come Playoff season? Alabama still obviously has a clear path to the Playoff, but Clemson is probably out of the running.
That prompted the Duke’s Mayo Bowl Twitter account to take a playful shot at the Tide and Tigers on Sunday morning:
