Gator Bait? In terms of traveling, Florida kicks off its toughest stretch of the season with its 1,007-mile trip to Missouri this week. But next week’s 1,004-mile jaunt to LSU is just as difficult. The Gators’ last road game of the season is against South Carolina on Nov. 14, a mere 357 miles away.
Traveling Tigers: LSU has a 734-mile trek to South Carolina on tap this week, which is longer than the Tigers’ remaining road trips combined — at Alabama (349 miles) on Nov. 7 and their road finale at Ole Miss (344) on Nov. 21.
High on the Hogs: Arkansas rallied from a 14-0 deficit to beat Tennessee 24-20 in its road opener last week. Things get just a bit tougher with the Hogs’ 244-mile trip to Tuscaloosa. The Razorbacks will have a November to remember with back-to-back games at Ole Miss (95 miles) and LSU (373).
Bulldogs Catch Their Breath: Georgia’s 235-mile jaunt to Tennesseee this week is its longest remaining road trip. The Bulldogs also visit Auburn (178 miles) on Nov. 14 and close out their road slate at Georgia Tech (68) on Nov. 28.
