Though the 2017 college football season is still 100 days away for most SEC teams, it’s never too early to start placing your bets on the action.
On Thursday evening, South Point released its early Week 1 betting lines, with eight of the 11 listed SEC teams as favorites to win:
- Alabama (-4) vs. Florida State
- Auburn (-36) vs. Georgia Southern
- Florida vs. Michigan (-3)
- Georgia (-11) vs. Appalachian State
- Kentucky (-13.5) vs. Southern Miss
- LSU (-8) vs. BYU
- Ole Miss (-22.5) vs. South Alabama
- South Carolina vs. North Carolina State (-8)
- Tennessee (-3) vs. Georgia Tech
- Texas A&M vs. UCLA (-4)
- Vanderbilt (-10.5) vs. Middle Tennessee
- Not listed: Mizzou vs. Missouri State, Mississippi State vs. Charleston Southern, Arkansas vs. Florida A&M
Obviously, those lines will shift a bit as the season draws nearer, but if you see anything you like, now’s the time to pounce before the summer practice sessions start and the lines change.
