Arch Manning will be following in the footsteps of his grandfather and 2 uncles when he takes to the college gridiron in a couple of years.

Grandfather Archie and uncle Eli were program legends at Ole Miss, with Eli later winning 2 Super Bowls. His other uncle, Peyton, made his own mark at Tennessee, finishing his own distinguished NFL career with a pair of Super Bowls of his own before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.

Of course, it’s far too early to tell what impact Arch Manning will have, but his rich pedigree alone makes him one of the most prized recruits of the class of 2023. He’ll be making a recruiting visit to Ole Miss as Eli Manning is set to have his jersey retired in Oxford on Saturday, joining his father and Chucky Mullins as the only Rebels players to gain that honor.

“I told him, ‘Hey. Just enjoy being a junior in high school,’” Eli Manning said he told his nephew, according to 247Sports.com. “‘This is a great time in your life. Playing football with your best friends and you’ve grown up with and you’ve played little league baseball with and you’ve played football at recess with your whole life. So enjoy this time. Go out there and try to win a state championship and kind of keep the focus on that and you’ll figure out the right spot to go to college and everything after that.”
