Henderson, Nevada tight end Moliki Matavao has already received 34 scholarship offers. As we inch closer to the class of 2021 signing period, the 4-star recruit has shared his top 10 schools, including three SEC programs.

LSU, Tennessee and Georgia join Penn State, UCLA, Miami, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan and Washington on the list, revealed in a graphic posted on his Twitter account. Matavao is listed at 6-6, 240 pounds and rated the No. 1 recruit in Nevada, No. 4 tight end and No. 145 prospect overall in the class on the 247Sports Composite. Blair Anguolo of 247Sports saw NFL potential for Matavao back in 2018:

Tall and long frame, with narrow lower half and projectable build. Room to add mass and strength. Plus athlete with mobility. Light on his feet and comfortable moving out of his stance. Can run past linebackers in space. Decent hands with ability to high-point the football in tight spaces. Well-rounded weapon who can line up out wide or block at the line of scrimmage. Still refining route running technique and fluidity, but oozes high-end potential given versatility. Potential multi-year starter at Power Five level and NFL Draft Day 2 selection.

According to Scott Eklund of 247Sports, Matavao is planning to visit “a handful of schools” this spring, including LSU, Penn State and Georgia. His junior highlights can be viewed below:
