One of the top safeties in the class of 2022 says he is down to four schools. Three of those schools are from the SEC West.

Beaumont West Brook standout Bryce Anderson recently named a final four of Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M and Texas on his Instagram page. Anderson was previously committed to LSU but backed off that pledge on Jan. 30.

LSU, Texas A&M and Texas were all named in Anderson’s February top five. Michigan and USC were part of that group while Alabama was not.

On his 247Sports recruiting profile, Anderson is listed at 6-feet, 190 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 3 safety, No. 11 player in Texas and No. 47 recruit overall in the class of 2022 on the Composite. Anderson has picked up 44 offers in his recruitment. He is scheduled to announce his commitment on July 4.

As previously mentioned, Anderson is considered one of the fastest players in the country, clocking 10.5 in the 100-meter dash this season after he went 10.79 as a sophomore.
