ESPN analyst Booger McFarland tweets takeaways from SEC's Week 1 action
Every Sunday morning, popular ESPN analyst Booger McFarland takes to Twitter to share his thoughts on that week’s college football action.
Following yesterday’s exciting opening Saturday of games, the SEC Network commentator had plenty of thoughts about the SEC teams that took part in the action.
From Alabama to Vanderbilt, here’s what McFarland liked and what he didn’t like from yesterday’s slate of games:
Alabama- defense blitzed more but as good as ever, Hurts still struggles as a passer, still most physical team in country and clear #1

Arkansas played on Thursday, Texas A&M plays Sunday and Tennessee plays Monday night, so there is still plenty of SEC action that didn’t happen on Saturday.
