The action in this college football season is really beginning to ramp up as we head into the later parts of October.

The big game in the SEC this weekend was between Alabama and Georgia with Nick Saban continuing his dominance over former assistants. After scoring 24 in the first half, Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs went quiet while the Crimson Tide scored 21 second-half points for the win.

Though Alabama won by 17 points, it does not appear the victory changed the perception of Georgia for ESPN’s Joey Galloway and Jesse Palmer. During their updated Top 5 Rankings, both analysts kept Alabama at No. 2 and Georgia at No. 3 behind No. 1 Clemson.
