FOX Sports stole one of ESPN’s “rising stars” of broadcasting in Adam Amin.

In a move first reported by the New York Post nearly 3 weeks ago, the commentator is leaving ESPN after being with the company since 2011.

Amin served as a lead commentator for ESPN’s college football coverage on Thursday nights in addition to having calling duties with MLB, NBA, college basketball and the Women’s Final Four. He’ll be moving on to FOX Sports where he’ll call NFL or college football games, as well as MLB games.

Amin released a very classy statement to his former company and its colleagues Wednesday.
