As the 2019-20 college basketball regular-season winds down, the postseason picture changes on seemingly a daily basis. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi updated his bracketology on Friday, and four SEC teams are projected to make the Big Dance while four others are on the outside looking in.

In Lunardi’s latest projections, Kentucky has moved up while Auburn has moved down:

  • Kentucky — No. 3 seed (Midwest)
  • Auburn — No. 5 seed (West)
  • LSU — No. 8 seed (Midwest)
  • Florida — No. 9 seed (South)

As for the four other SEC teams on the bubble, here’s how Lunardi considers them relevant to the field of 68:

  • Mississippi State – First Four Out
  • South Carolina – Next Four Out
  • Arkansas – Next Four Out
  • Alabama – Next Four Out

Lunardi had long projected Arkansas as a fifth SEC team to make the NCAA tournament, but the Razorbacks’ recent struggles have caused the Hogs to drop in the bracketology projections. Arkansas has lost five in a row and will look to end that skid against Missouri (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network).

This weekend’s schedule does not feature any of the SEC bubble teams facing off. Florida at No. 10 Kentucky looks to be the marquee matchup of the weekend. The Gators and Wildcats are set for a 6 p.m. ET tipoff on ESPN. The CBS showcase game (noon ET) features Tennessee at No. 13 Auburn.
