ESPN experts update bowl projections after Week 8 action; 13 SEC squads included

The 2020 SEC season is approaching Week 9 this weekend, and many other conferences are heading toward the regular season finish line.
After this past week’s action, ESPN experts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach updated their bowl projections, and 13 SEC teams (everyone but Vanderbilt) were included.
As you can see below, both project Alabama to go to the College Football Playoff. Here’s where each SEC team is projected to play this postseason:
Alabama
- Bonagura: Sugar Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson
- Schlabach: Sugar Bowl (CFP) vs. Notre Dame
Arkansas
- Bonagura: Texas Bowl vs. Texas
- Schlabach: Outback Bowl vs. Indiana
Auburn
- Bonagura: Citrus Bowl vs. Northwestern
- Schlabach: Citrus Bowl vs. Wisconsin
Florida
- Bonagura: Orange Bowl vs. Miami
- Schlabach: Orange Bowl vs. Miami
Georgia
- Bonagura: Peach Bowl vs. Cincinnati
- Schlabach: Peach Bowl vs. Cincinnati
Kentucky
- Bonagura: Liberty Bowl vs. West Virginia

LSU
