ESPN FPI updates Top 25 teams after wild Week 4
The SEC’s Week 1 action is in the books, and man, it was beautiful to watch the sport we all love happen in a year in which we thought it might not.
The AP Top 25 will be released Sunday afternoon, and it will include Big Ten teams for the first time since the conference originally canceled football this fall. ESPN’s Football Power Index Top 25 has included Big Ten teams for the last couple of weeks.
Six SEC teams are ranked in this week’s updated FPI, including 4 in the top 10:

4. Wisconsin
5. Penn State
6. Georgia
7. Auburn
8. Texas
9. Florida
10. UCF
11. Notre Dame
12. Oklahoma
13. LSU
14. Virginia Tech
15. Michigan

18. Indiana
19. Texas A&M
20. Oklahoma State
21. North Carolina
22. Northwestern
23. TCU
24. Iowa
25. Minnesota
Disney needs to fire whoever built the ESPN FPI algorithm.
You got this wrong… Just look at the same article and #HailState is #8… You DON’T EVEN HAVE THEM ON THE LIST!!!!!
?? MSST rose 22 spots to now be ranked 35. I think they should be higher, but that’s what the linked article says.
This is not accurate.
Whoever puts this together obviously didn’t watch the LSU/Mississippi State game. I don’t say that because I don’t like that MSU isn’t in their top 25. I say that because anyone that would leave LSU even sniffing still being in the top 25 is delusional.
