Preseason rankings and All-America teams are coming out in full force these days as the buildup to Week 1 intensifies.

On Thursday, ESPN released its preseason All-America team, choosing the guys it thinks will be on the All-America squad come the end of the 2021 season.

As you can see below, 7 SEC standouts made the team — 3 on offense, 3 on defense and 1 on special teams. Alabama and LSU each had 2 players make the cut, while Texas A&M, Kentucky and Georgia each had 1:

  • Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M
  • Evan Neal, OL, Alabama
  • Darrian Kinnard, OL, Kentucky
  • Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia
  • Will Anderson Jr., LB, Alabama
  • Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU
  • Cade York, K, LSU
