The most redneck matchup of bowl season is living up to its name and location.

If you aren’t watching the Myrtle Beach Bowl, you missed a fight that broke out between Appalachian State and North Texas during the Monday afternoon game.

Nothing should come as a surprise in this game as ESPN’s Marty Smith and Ryan McGee are working this game as sideline analysts. We weren’t joking about this matchup being redneck.

Appalachian State currently leads North Texas 14-7 but the most exciting moment of the game came when North Texas QB Jason Bean took a hard hit as Appalachian State’s Steven Jones delivered a blow to the signal-caller.

Immediately after that hit, things got a little ugly.
