Georgia and Alabama both posted dominant victories on Saturday.

The Bulldogs dismantled Tennessee, 41-17, on the road, while the Crimson Tide stepped out of conference and blasted New Mexico State, 59-3.

As a result, the SEC powers remained in the top 2 spots of the latest ESPN Power Rankings and on a likely collision course in the SEC Championship game.

Rounding out the top 5 in the Power Rankings were Cincinnati at No. 3, Oregon at No. 4, and Ohio State at No.5.

In addition to Georgia and Alabama, there were 4 other SEC programs in the top 25 this week.

Ole Miss checked in at No. 11, after its win over Texas A&M, while the Aggies dropped to No. 22. Arkansas, meanwhile, was in the 23rd slot, and Mississippi State was 24th.
